Physiotherapy internships in Nepal are essential to prospective physiotherapists’ education and training process. Internships allow students to employ their theoretical knowledge in practical situations, acquiring practical experience and contributing to the country’s healthcare system.
Physiotherapy internships are typically offered at the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. As part of their curriculum, interns generally are required to accumulate a specific number of hours accredited by their universities and their requirements.
During their internship period, students are presented with a diverse array of cases. Post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, stroke recovery, musculoskeletal disorders, and sports injuries are among the most prevalent physiotherapy cases in Nepal. The internship program also allows interns to engage in alternative physiotherapy practices, which combine traditional Nepalese healing methods with contemporary rehabilitation techniques.

Program Fees
One-time Registration Fee: 450 USD (Paid at the time of submission of application)
