A Journey Through Nepali Healthcare: Lessons Learned

The highlight of this trip was our one week hike in Pokhara where we climbed Poon Hill and had an unforgettable view of the Annapurna range. Coming from Australia, witnessing the healthcare system of a less well resourced country was also eye opening. We were allowed to do various procedures such as ABGs and even a spinal block, and the Nepali doctors though not well paid are very friendly people and great teachers. Internship Nepal has great cooking and is a comfortable stay (thank you to hosts!)
