Leprosy Clinical Tour
This activity has been part of Sewa Kendra. At Dolalghat, 77 km east of Kathmandu on the Nepal-Tibet highway, this non-profit organization conducts a weekly outreach clinic for the local population. The clinic serves 150 patients, primarily women, who originate from a radius of at least 10 km surrounding the rural municipality. The clinic is beneficial for Sewa Kendra and prevents new and defaulted (discontinued medication) leprosy cases in the community. So, during the trip, one of the association’s doctors will guide you throughout the visit. He/She would give you lectures on the cases they dealt with. Where you observe, offer clinical visits to the residents and serve their great clinical method with limited resources. Leprosy has been affected throughout the area, and non-profit organisations frequently support residents.
Note: We also encourage you to motivate them by offering medical supplies. Keep up the good work.
