When I first arrived in Nepal, I didn't have too many expectations and was not quite sure what I was getting into.
I was then blown away by the kindness of the people and how welcoming the host family was to me. My editor/teacher Ram was a wealth of knowledge and helped me hone my photography skills. He also helped me a lot with my journalism ethics and reignited my passion for photojournalism.
I will never forget the experiences I had here and will always look back on them for guidance in the future. I'm so glad I took the chance to come here and integrate myself with the Nepali people.
Any worries I initially had, dissipated right away as I submerged myself into the internship, culture, and friendships that I will never forget.
