I learned a lot about photography

I expected to be working in an office as a trainee just entering the journalism world. This internship is much more than that.

We work with an experienced journalist as our mentor on our own time schedule. I learned a lot about photography, writing, and interviewing. I got to work on what I was interested in and was given the resources I needed to do so.
