I really hoped to learn about the culture of Nepal, and I truly did! Nepal will always have a special place in my heart.

My orthopaedic surgery placement was also very valuable, as I have seen things that I had never even previously heard of. 

The staff at the hospital are fantastic and keen to teach, but give you the freedom to decide your own timetable which I thought was excellent.

The host family are also among the kindest people I have ever met, and truly care for the interns and students.
